# How to Create a New Section

To create a new section, follow one of the two paths:

Navigate to the “Sections” menu on the left and select “Sections List”.
Click on the “+” icon next to the “Sections” entry on the dashboard.

Once in “Sections List”, you will see the existing sections and can click the “New” button at the top right. By clicking on it, a screen will open where you can enter the name of the new section.

Section Configuration

In the section creation screen, specify the following details:

Section Name
Level: select between Nido, Infanzia, and Primaria
School Year
Section Activities: check the option to make the section active (recommended for new sections)

Adding Staff and Students

After creating the section, you can add:

Staff: select names from the available staff
Students: view the list and select students to add to the section, or add new ones by clicking the appropriate button

Filters and Search

You can filter students by type and age, and search by first name or last name.

At the end of the operation, save the section with the associated students and staff by clicking “Save”.
