# How to enter a justification as an educator from the Easy Staff App

To enter a justification as an educator, once you have logged into the **Easy Staff App**, go to the **QR Code** icon in the top right corner.

**Entering justification**

1. **Click on the “Insert justification” button.**

• At this point, you will have **two options**:

• **Single registration**: For one day.

• **Multiple registration**: For several consecutive days.

**Important**

To view and enter justifications, you need to be **enabled** by the coordinator.

The coordinator can enable you by accessing their menu:

• **Staff → Staff attendance → Settings**

(settings can be found in the dropdown menu under “registrations”)

Here they can enable the justifications to be made visible.

**Next steps**

1. **Type of period**

• Select the type:

• **Single**: Justification related to **one day**.

• **Multiple**: Justification related to **several consecutive days**.

2. **Type**

• Select from the dropdown menu the type of justification available.

(The types are configured by the coordinator).

3. **Start date**

• **Single registration**: Click on the calendar to select the day of the justification.

*(The default date will be today)*.

• **Multiple registration**:

• Enter the **start date** and the **end date** by clicking on the calendar.

*(The default date will be today)*.

4. **Start time and End time**

• Enter the times related to the justification:

• **Start time**: Start time of the justification.

• **End time**: End time of the justification.

5. **Note**

• You can add a **personal note**.

**Saving the justification**

Click on the **light blue “Save”** button at the bottom. The justification registration will be successfully saved.
