How to modify or delete an attendance from the Easy Staff App
To modify an attendance accessing from the Easy Staff App, go to the button at the top left “View Records”, then go to the button on the right “Educator Record”.
Step 1 – Search filters for records to modify or delete
On the top string, you will find the calendar, where you can navigate using:
• The left arrow to search for a date prior to those displayed.
• The right arrow to search for a date after those displayed.
You will find three filters that can facilitate your search:
• “Type”: filter by type of activity (in this case “Attendance-Entry”).
• “Staff”: filter by the educator who entered the activity.
• “Student”: filter by selecting the student from the list that will open.
Note: If you want to modify or delete an attendance for a specific student, apply the “Student” filter to speed up the search.
Step 2 – Selection and deletion of the attendance
On the next screen, all records registered on the selected date will be displayed.
Within the card, you will find:
• Name and surname of the person who created the record.
• Date and time of entry.
• Type of record and list of students for whom the same record was registered (you can view it by clicking on the magnifying glass icon).
On the top right of each card, you will find two icons:
- Red trash can icon: allows you to delete the attendance.
• Once you click the icon, an alert will appear with the text: “Delete - Are you sure?” asking for confirmation to delete the record.
Step 3 – Selection and modification of the attendance
The green pencil icon allows you to modify the attendance.
By clicking on this icon, you will be directed to a new screen where you will find:
• Date: indication of the date when the attendance was registered.
• Time: indication of the entry time, which you can modify by clicking on the icon on the right.
Click the “Next” button at the bottom to proceed to the next step.
Step 4 – Modify student details
On the next screen, the cards of the students for whom you are modifying the record will be displayed.
The student data is contained in a rectangle:
• If the rectangle is bordered in light blue, the student is selected.
• If there is no border, the student is deselected.
Note: To reverse the selection, click in the top right corner of the card on the “V” symbol.
Within the card, you will find:
• Student photo (if uploaded).
• Name and surname of the student and the section they belong to.
• Entry time (modifiable by clicking on it).
• Guardian: if available, indicates who accompanied the student at entry (optional data).
• Personal note: you can add it by clicking on “Write your note here”.
List of students by section: the list of students is divided by sections. The name of the section is displayed at the top and, by clicking on it, you can switch from one section to another.
After making all the desired changes, click the “Next” button at the bottom.
Step 5: Summary and Confirmation
The last step will take you to a summary screen, where the following will be shown:
• The date of the attendance.
• The time.
• The count of students for whom the registration was made, divided by sections.
To confirm the save, click the light blue “Save” button at the bottom.
Note: If you want to make further changes, you can return to the previous steps by clicking on the arrow icon at the top left.
