How the “Staff Attendance” Section Works

The “Staff Attendance” section allows you to view, record, and manage staff attendance.


How to Access the “Staff Attendance” Section


  1. Log in with a Coordinator account.


  1. Select the desired location.


  1. From the side menu, click on “Staff”“Staff Attendance”.


A screen will open with a dropdown menu in the top left that allows you to select the following functions:


Records


Requests


Absence Calendar


Settings


Records


This function allows you to manually record staff attendance and check those already entered.


How to Create a Record


  1. Click on the light blue “Create Record” button in the top right.


  1. Choose from the dropdown menu the type of record:


Entry


Exit


Entry and Exit


Justification


  1. Select the date and the staff to whom the record applies.


  1. Enter the time and, if necessary, add a note.


  1. Click on “Save” in the top right.


Note: If an attendance is already recorded, the system will notify you.


How to Modify or Delete a Record


  1. Filter the period using the filters at the top.


  1. Click on the record to modify.


  1. Modify the data using the pencil icon and save.


  1. Delete the record using the trash can icon.


Requests


This section shows the justifications requested by staff.


How to Filter Requests


  1. Use the filters at the top to select:


Period (month/year)


Request Status (pending, approved, rejected)


How to Manage a Request


In the list, you will find:


Educator's Name


Type of Justification


Request Date


Request Status


For each request, four actions are available:


🔍 View → By clicking on the eye icon


✔️ Approve → By clicking on the checkmark icon


Reject → By clicking on the X icon


🗑️ Delete → By clicking on the trash can icon


Absence Calendar


This section allows you to view staff absences in a monthly view.


How to Filter the Calendar


Use the filters at the top to select:


Educator/Staff


Type of Justification


Reference Month


Reference Year


Settings


In the Settings section, you can configure the rules for managing absences and justifications.


Available Options


For each type of justification, you can:


Make it visible to staff


Set automatic or manual approval


Receive a notification for each request


Allow staff to modify the justification


After setting your preferences, click on “Save” in the top right.
