Registering Attendance from Browser
To register attendance as an educator accessing from the browser, you have two options: single entry or multiple entry.
Registering attendance with multiple entry
This operation is recommended for registering multiple attendances at the same time, for example at the end of the entry time, or to register the entries of only those students whose families did not make the entry via QRCode.
- Access the menu
Go to the green menu on the left and click on "Multiple Entries", a submenu will appear with various items, click on "Entries".
- Step 1 - Basic Data
- "Date" is the date for which you want to register attendance, the system automatically inserts the current date but you can modify it by clicking on it.
- "Time" the system automatically inserts the current time but you can modify it by clicking on it, this time will be pre-assigned in the next step to all students to speed up registration, you can still customize the time for each individual student in step 2.
- "Sections" Through this select you can decide the sections for which you want to register entries, the system automatically selects all sections under your responsibility, but you can change this value from "All sections" to "Select manually", thus showing you the list of your sections and you can click on one or more to select instead of all.
- "Preselect students" this option allows you to speed up registration in the next step by ensuring that only some students are pre-selected for registration, you have 2 options available "All except already registered" or "None (manual selection)", the first option will automatically exclude students who already have an entry or who have an absence for the selected date, the second will not select any student, so you will need to manually click on the desired students.
To proceed to step 2, you must click on the light blue button "Next" located at the top right.
- Step 2 – Selection and Single Student Data Entry
On the next screen, the student cards filtered by the parameters entered in Step 1 will be displayed. The student data is contained in a rectangle, if the rectangle is bordered in green the student is selected, if it has a gray border it is deselected. To invert the selection, you need to click in the top right corner of the card.
Inside the card, you will find:
- Student Photo (if uploaded)
- Student's First and Last Name
- Indication if the student already has: an entry, an absence, or no data
- Time at which you want to register the entry, pre-set according to the indications of step 1, this data is modifiable by clicking on it.
- Accompanying family member, i.e., who accompanied the student at the entry, is an optional data
You can add a personal note by clicking on the light blue pencil icon located on the right side of each student card. The note will only be seen by the structure and the student's family.
The list of students is divided by section, the name of the section is at the top, clicking on it you can expand or collapse the section displaying or hiding the students.
After making all the desired changes, click on "Next" at the top right.
- Step 3: Summary and Confirmation
The last step is a summary screen where you will be shown the count of students for whom you are registering divided by sections. To confirm the save, you must click on the green button at the top right "Save".
If you wish to change something, you can click on "Back" (at the top right) to return to the previous steps.
Once registration is complete, you will be taken to the "Educator Register" menu where it will be possible to modify or delete various registrations.
Registering attendance with single entry
This operation is recommended if you want to quickly register the entry of a single student.
- Access the menu
Go to the green menu on the left and click on "Single Entries".
At the top right, there will be today's date, it can be changed by clicking on it if you want to make a registration for a different day.
Two selects will be shown "Section" and "Student" you must first select the section of the student for whom you want to register the entry and then, acting on the select "Student", you will be able to view the list of students in that section and select the one of your interest.
Once the student is selected, a series of options corresponding to the various types of registrations that can be made will be displayed, you must click on the first one on the left "Entry".
In the various quadrants, the count of registrations by type made for that day is indicated, this allows for an immediate view if any registration is missing.
WARNING: If the student is marked as "Absent" for the selected day, it will be impossible to make some types of registration, such as entry for example.
Upon clicking "Entry" a view will open with the following information:
• Student Photo (if uploaded)
• Student's First and Last Name
• Indication if the student already has: an entry, an absence, or no data
• Date, pre-set with the date selected in the previous view
• Time at which you want to register the entry, pre-set with the current time, this data is modifiable by clicking on it.
• Accompanying family member, i.e., who accompanied the student at the entry, is an optional data
• Notes, you can add a personal note by clicking on the light blue pencil icon located on the right side of each student card. The note will only be seen by the structure and the student's family.
To confirm the registration, click on "Save" to cancel click on "Back".
Upon saving, you will return to the single registration screen.
